Chief Secretary, Health and Family Welfare, Raj Kamal Chaudhary today said the Pulse Polio Crusade 2022 will be launched in the state from February 27. It will end on March 1. He said 31,08,660 children (0-5 years) would be given polio drops by social workers.
On the main day of the mission, 14,468 polio stations would be set up across the state, and on the second day, 26,741 groups would go house to house administering these drops to young people. The principal secretary said 848 portable groups and 764 travel groups have been formed to control polio drops among young people.
