The Saudi National Meteorological Department said temperatures were expected to drop steadily from Tuesday, March 15 to next Friday. According to newspaper 24, the National Center said in the report that
"the temperature at different places in Tabuk, Hudood Shamaliyah, Hail and Al-Jawf regions will be three degrees below freezing point".
Its effects will spread to Qasim, al-Sharqiya and Riyadh, where minimum temperatures are expected to reach 4 degrees Celsius. The National Meteorological Center said in a statement that
"from Tuesday, strong winds with dust will blow in Makkah Mukarramah, Tabuk, Madinah, Al-Jawf, Hail, Hudood Shamaliya and Al-Qasim regions."
Dust storms are expected in the eastern and Riyadh regions on Wednesday and Thursday. The National Center said that the wind speed will be more than 50 kmph. Sometimes dust storms can cause limited or no vision at all.
On Thursday and Friday, Makkah Mukarramah and Najran regions will also be affected by dust storms. Dust storms are also expected in the eastern parts of Asir and Baha regions.
