Pakistan's Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid has advised the opposition to "exercise restraint and forbearance, lest it wait 10 years instead of one."
Talking to reporters in Quetta on Saturday, Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid said that "the opposition is blackmailing, their no-confidence motion will fail and the Prime Minister will complete five years."
"We have to move towards a cold program, we have to move towards reconciliation, even if we go ahead, the opposition has to lose and we have to harass even after that," he said.
Sheikh Rashid said that the opposition is blackmailing, they will admit their defeat, and will work on the same salary.
He said that seven days ago it was decided to hand over Parliament House and Parliament Lodges to Rangers while army could also be called in if required.
According to Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid, "under Article 245, we have the authority to call in the army, but the need has not arisen yet."
"Ansar-ul-Islam, Bait-ul-Islam and any other militia will not be allowed, so for the last seven days it has been decided to hand over Parliament and lodges to Rangers and FC so that there are no complaints."
