Winter has spread its cold shawl everywhere and the arrangements and preparations are at its peak to enjoy the winter as well as pass it in a healthy manner. With the onset of winter, there are usually various changes in the daily habits of eating and living. Which usually causes complaints of cold, flu, fever, diarrhea, cough, asthma, joint pain, dry skin, blisters and sores around the lips and nausea etc. in the winter season. Apart from this, due to less thirst in cold weather, we drink less water and then we start complaining of lack of water in the body due to which the effects of dryness on the skin become noticeable. To protect the skin from dryness, you should not bathe with very hot water, and after bathing, a cold cream or moisturizing lotion that moisturizes the skin should be used regularly, especially before going to bed. That is, one should drink at least eight to ten glasses a day.

 In the cold season, chilling in the body creates a condition like shivering, due to which the chances of getting a cold in the chest increase. Especially, young children and elderly people are more affected by it and they start getting pain in their chest. In people over fifty years of age, when the intensity of cold falls on the chest, it also increases the risk of stroke. In this condition, the body should be protected from cold environment and cold water and the chest should be well covered by warm clothes and hot food should also be used. Asthma or respiratory diseases also increase in cold weather. Because dry weather affects respiratory patients badly and they need special care and caution in winter. One should try to prefer to stay at home instead of going out more in the dry season and if it is intended to go out of the house for necessity, then the nose and mouth should be covered well with a warm cloth and inhaler while going out. And the necessary medicines must be kept with them so that they can be used at the time of emergency medical assistance. 

Sore throat is also an important winter disease that affects both children and the elderly. According to various experiences, the change in temperature or going from a hot environment to a cold environment also causes a sore throat. In such a case, instead of using different medicines, it is better to gargle with lukewarm water mixed with salt, which significantly reduces the severity of the disease. In winter, the pain of people suffering from joint pain also increases. To avoid this, the use of warm clothes and daily physical exercise are very important, which have good effects on health. While the chances of heart attack also increase due to increase in blood pressure in winter. Therefore, in such a season, along with avoiding too much poultry and heavy foods, it is mandatory to use warm clothes and blankets and cover yourself well while going out of the house. 

Cold in winter can have various causes and reasons. Some people feel more cold due to various reasons while some people feel cold relatively less. People who consume less meat are also more affected by cold. Because meat plays an important role in the production of blood in the human body and due to not using meat properly, iron deficiency occurs due to lack of blood in the body, which leads to cold. Apart from this, people suffering from stomach and lung diseases and special days of women also weaken the blood circulation due to which the feeling of cold increases. According to experts, iron deficiency in the human body can be met to some extent by using green leafy vegetables. While eggs and rice also help in increasing blood production, due to which the severity of cold can be reduced. 

Women who are going through the early stages of their pregnancy also feel cold more. Because in the early days of pregnancy, the feeling of cold increases due to the decrease in blood circulation. People suffering from diabetes also need extreme caution in cold weather. Due to blood thickening in winter, the blood sugar level varies, so diabetic patients should eat adequate amount of fruits and vegetables in winter. And very sweet fruits should be avoided. Apart from this, physical activity should be continued by making exercise a regular routine even in winter. If it is not possible to go out due to the severity of the cold, physical activity can be maintained while staying at home and at the same time one should try to stay safe from colds. 

Due to exercise, the temperature of the human body remains normal, so even in cold weather, the routine of exercise should not be abandoned and daily light exercise should be mandatory. Apart from this, it is important to consume plenty of fruits that are rich in vitamin C, vitamin D and vitamin E to fight the cold. Such fruits and vegetables include strawberries, papaya, cassava, tomatoes, cauliflower, spinach, guava, pomegranate, pineapple, grapes and bananas, etc. Protects against various winter diseases. The use of fish is also best for cold weather and its use relieves cough, cold and dry cough and especially for weak children and the elderly it is necessary to use fish. Fish should be eaten at least once a week in winter season. Along with this, winter gifts dry fruits are also very beneficial for winter and help to reduce the severity of cold in the body. 

In winter, most children and elderly people, whose bladders are weak, complain of bedwetting. Sesame laddus are the best medicine and food for such people. Which reduces the pain of frequent urination as well as the severity of cold. Apart from this, chalghoze is also important for strengthening the kidney, bladder and liver. With the use of which the feeling of heat in the body is reduced as well as the feeling of cold. Before leaving the house in winter, one can be protected from cold, flu and various respiratory diseases by covering the head, face, nose, ears and mouth with a warm cloth.
